Experience dynamic lasting change with The Option Method. Work with our Option Method Teachers to connect the dots between your own beliefs and feelings through O.M.Dialogues, the most efficient, effective technique for unraveling the mystery of unhappiness. Learn to master the technique for your own personal use.
The ExperienceOption Program offers participants an opportunity for exposure to and immersion in O.M.Dialogues for your personal happiness. Each participant works with an Option Method Teacher, who conducts The O.M.Dialogues. When you are ready, your teacher works with you to perfect your ability to use The O.M.Dialogue on your own through O.M.Dialogue Reviews. The dialogue practice can be augmented with ExperienceOption workshops as well as ExperienceOption Skillbuilding teleclasses on the philosophy and practice of The Option Method. Join others at this phase of the training at our monthly ExperienceOption NetTogethers, an online colloquium for students and teachers.
To help you in your journey, we offer Progress and Coaching Consultations, ongoing planning, evaluation and coaching meetings. We start by working with you to set your personal goals and determine how you plan to move through this phase of the training. You can use this plan, written and available online, to track your own progress. Or, continue to work with us to evaluate your progress and make adjustments as needed.
Recommended Prerequisites: We recommend taking advantage of an ExploreOption event before moving on to the ExperienceOption phase. That way, you will be grounded in the basics of The Option Method, which will give you a better understanding of The O.M.Dialogue. We offer a variety of opportunities at the ExploreOption phase to meet your needs.
Individuals may participate FreeStyle or through the ExperienceOption: Practicum for Self Discovery. We are now accepting applications for our 2016-17 Practicum. Call 973-714-2800 to find out more.
The Practicum is designed for the serious student of The Option Method and is required for membership in The Center's Option Method Teacher Registry. It includes a prescribed number of O.M.Dialogues, O.M.Dialogue Reviews, ExperienceOption skillbuilding teleclasses and NetTogethers. We consider these to be minimums.
The Practicum starts with a progress and coaching consultation to set your goals and map out your plan for completion. Then, you engage in weekly O.M.Dialogues with your teacher, by phone, internet or in person. You then progress to weekly O.M.Dialogue Reviews, which may be submitted in writing, recorded or through conference calls. Practicums are typically structured as cohorts, where a group of fellow students form a community to progress through the learning experience. While you will work through the Practicum on your own schedule for O.M.Dialogues, O.M. Dialogue Reviews, and Consultations, group teleclasses and NetTogethers provide ongoing communication with fellow cohort members, who are also available for dialogue practice and peer group discussions.
Additional O.M.Dialogues and O.M.Dialogue Reviews can be scheduled with your teacher, if needed. You are welcome to repeat practicums as often as you’d like.
Individuals completing ExploreOption and ExperienceOption practicums should have a firm foundation for continued practice of The Option Method and are eligible to participate in ongoing activities at the Center to expand your skills and connect with others.

When we want to feel a certain way, let us look closely. We will find that we have actually begun to feel that way. To decide is really to discover that what we want to feel we are beginning to feel. To decide means “Don’t decide for the past—the future is beginning."[ Bruce Di Marsico ]
