+ How to expand your consciousness without even trying.

[ Posted on 09.23.2018 ]

When I think about expanding consciousness, which has been our focus for this month, I realize it’s a wide open multi-leveled subject that can mean many different things. My focus, as always, has been on happiness. What’s the point of expanding consciousness if it doesn’t result in more happiness and less emotional suffering?  In my experience, as we deal with our unhappiness in all its forms and let go of the clockwork mechanism of unhappy thinking, our minds are free to roam the universe. Happiness is an experience of the expansion and evolution of consciousness and that is completely within the realm of what we humans are capable of. We don’t need special credentials or any permission. Within each of us are the makings of that mystic, that sage, that empath, that realized being, that guru, that enlightened being residing right alongside the makings of that person who gets pissed…

+ 21 Day Consciousness Expanding Experience Starts Now!

[ Posted on 09.12.2018 ]

I invite you to join me for a 21 day Consciousness Expansion Experience on Facebook or Instagram. Notice I am not calling it a Challenge. We don’t need to be challenged to expand our consciousness. Our consciousness is already expanded encompassing everything that is, has been and will be – everything that is seen and unseen, heard and unheard, felt and unfelt. What I have is offer is whatever my own consciousness produces – come with me, add your own experiences and let’s have some fun. I recommend keeping a journal or recording your experiences.

+ Door #1 or Door#2. How can you love decision-making?

[ Posted on 08.21.2018 ]

One of the stumbling blocks to making a decision for many people is knowing the right thing to do. If I pick Door #1, will it turn out okay for me? Will it be better than Door #2? They struggle with trying to figure out what the best thing to do is. When it comes to making decisions, we can all profit by doing the research necessary to figure these things out. Whether it’s a trusted friend, colleague, doctor or the all-important and ever-expanding Mr. Google, information gathering can help us tremendously. But do you ever find yourself cycling through more and more questions and research, delaying that moment when you make the final choice? Cringing at the what if’s? and imagined regrets? When you are fearful of the outcome, it isn’t the best time to make a decision. So instead of pushing yourself into something that you can’t feel…

+ Are you stuck between a rock and a hard place?

[ Posted on 08.02.2018 ]

You can’t seem to get started with that project, get up on time, lose those pounds.  You have problems making decisions, following through on commitments, throwing away those old newspapers.  You don’t know what to do about losing your job, your health insurance, or even your keys. All of these challenges can be strictly practical – a matter of figuring out what to do next, who to call, where to find information.  But when we find ourselves spinning our wheels and not getting anywhere, we might be stuck in the mud of our own emotional inertia.  Here’s an example. Sharon wants to make a decision about whether to go to law school or take a job offer at an internet company.  She collects all the information, talks to her friends, researches schools, but she still can’t bring herself to make a decision.  When she thinks about going to law school,…

+ Does the way we think affect our ability to heal?

[ Posted on 07.18.2018 ]

We are all healers. Whether we heal with drugs and surgery, tinctures and potions, vitamins and herbs, hands on, intention setting, the mom with the baby aspirin, the caregiver administering medications, or just wishing someone well – we are all healers in some way. We heal others with our love, care, hugs and smiles. Some of us are more in touch with it than others, but consider this. Every time you hear a story of someone suffering and you want to help, you are part of the healing process. And of course, we are all self-healers, in ways we know about and without even thinking about it. Many years ago I attended a healing workshop with Rev. Aristide Bruni. He told us something that has stuck in my mind ever since. “You can only heal what can be healed.” At the time I took that to mean that there…
